Zog's Nightmare: The National Socialist Movement (often shortened to ZOG's Nightmare ) is a first-person shooter game developed and published by Resistance Records under the auspices of the Detroit-based Neo-Nazi political party National Socialist Movement (NSM). In the game, the player controls a Neo-Nazi conspiracy theorist for ZOG (Zionist Occupation Government), which is a conspiracy theory where Jews are actually controlling the government in the U.S. The player must kill Jews, African Americans, etc. The game received a sequel called ZOG's Nightmare 2: The War Continues! , which followed the plot of the first game.

The game was banned in Germany due to the game's overall nature and its content blatantly violating Section 68a of the Strafgesetzbuch.

In January 2015, a user of the Neo-Nazi forum stormfront.org indentified as "mmaragos" (later "Wolfdie Entertainment") created a fan-made last sequel for ZOG's Nightmare 2, called ZOG's Nightmare 3: Message from C18. ZOG's Nightmare 3 was even more flawed than the two original games, and fell on oblivion too.

Plot

The game takes place in 2016. The Neo-Nazis grew "in a movement of millions" and now they want to take over the White House, so the USA will "stop aiding Israel". Trying to prevent this, a Jewish scientist named Dr. Abraham Kikenstein sent a terrorist squad to the Neo-Nazi headquarters in Washington D.C., and as soon the squad arrive, they receive free help from some local African American gangsters and they quickly slaughter the Neo-Nazi personnel at the headquarters.

The player controls one of the remaining Neo-Nazi gunmen and must take back the headquarters, then proceed to eliminate Dr. Kikenstein inside of his underground laboratory.

ZOG's Nightmare 2: The War Continues!

The game is a follow up to its precurssor. The death of the past game's villain, Dr. Abraham Kikenstein, was not enough to stop the Jewish antagonists from taking over the USA government. Some unspecified time after the events of the first game, the USA now is under a Zionist Occupied Government, which is taking political measures to stimulate the race mixing, and thus, slowly eliminate the white population.

The player controls a Neo-Nazi gunman going postal against the corrupt ZOG. He must take back another Neo-Nazi headquarter that was invaded by the ZOG, escape from prison after he is arrested, and then eliminate some sanguinary zombies created by the ZOG in a cemetery and later in a synagogue.

Why They're Nothing but Nightmares

Overall

1. The game blatantly promotes fascism, as you impersonate a white supremacist going on a shooting rampage murdering jews and blacks amongst other people that don't fit in with the Nazi ideology.
   • All of the Jewish enemies are very stereotypical, yelling in Hebrew, wearing stereotypical Jewish clothing, and have Stars of David all over them.
   • The name of the main antagonist, Dr. Abraham Kikenstein, may be an insulting reference to Albert Einstein; "kiken" is a Jewish surname often used by the Neo-Nazists as an offensive term for all the Jewish people. It is also strangely ironic, because Einstein was German and sided against the Nazi movement's actions.
2. The game is surprisingly (and unfairly) difficult. Enemies move around everywhere and since the mouse sensitivity is very low, it's hard to aim at and kill them. However, due to their lousy AI, some enemies will at times end up not noticing you.
3. The blast radius of the grenades is extremely large, more than it pretends.
4. Lots of bugs, glitches and crashes.
5. Enemies have a huge amount of health, most of the times you need to shoot them more than 30 times just to kill them.
6. The uncut retail version of the game has footages from Nazi and Neo-Nazi public speeches and marching soldiers that will randomly play as you progress through the levels, which gets annoying real fast on top of them being distasteful.
7. There are no options in the menu.
8. The printed manual is one page long, and it is more concerned into insulting Jewish and African-American people rather than tell you how to install or how to play the game.
9. Generic, bland levels and ugly graphics. The devs must have been really lazy because one of the levels' wall textures are just Stars of David, which can make the level disorienting and eyesoaring.
10. The music that plays is metal music, but has lots of racist slurs in the lyrics, just like in Ethnic Cleansing.
11. Your character doesn't even have hands, your gun just floats.
12. You have unusually large amounts of reserve ammo when you start the game, probably beacause the devs realized how much of a hustle killing the enemies is.

Zog's Nightmare 2

1. The game is basically a reskin, sharing the same bad qualities mentioned earlier expect the only aesthetic improvement is that the protagonist now has the arms visible.
2. Even more racist and offensive messages, this time downed to the point of being disturbing. The game even features real-life photos of Klu Klux Klan murders and the holocaust.
3. There are several problems with the levels:
   1. Other than the real-life photos, the first level of the game feels more like someone going postal: you are on the streets at daytime and must kill five policemen and an African-American civilian.
   2. In the second level, there is a doberman NPC that must be killed in order to proceed for no reason at all. It will not even try to attack the protagonist.
   3. On the third and the eighth levels, there is one unarmed Caucasian medical doctor NPC who will refill the health of the player character. The player is able to kill them with no consequences other than not being able restore health. Furthermore, strangely enough, the doctor on the third level is a young woman wearing a bikini and no reason given for her to be using this clothing.
   4. In the third level, there is a box of soap said to have been made from dead Jews.
   5. There is also a vending machine in the third and the fourth levels (inside of the Neo-Nazi headquarter) whose advertisement claim it's of "juice made from dead Jewish babies".
   6. As mentioned before, on the fifth and the sixth levels the protagonist is arrested. He must kill homosexual prison inmates in order to proceed.
   7. The final level is inside of a synagogue full of bloodshed and deformed Jewish zombie enemies.
